Oxford Street is a major road in the City of Westminster in the West End of London. It is Europe's busiest shopping street, with over 300 shops.

Approximately one and a half miles long, with endpoints at Hyde Park and High Holborn, Oxford Street features a number of major department stores as well as smaller shops and high-end boutiques. Though the largest retail area within London, it is not actually the most expensive. It is part of a larger shopping district including Regent Street and Bond Street.
